Okay, I'm a HUGE Smallville fan, LOVE the show, but last night's ep was just kinda...weird. Now it had its good moments, and I like Jimmy Olsen but somehow, I can't buy Jimmy as the James Bond type (like the agent would give him a tux with all those weapons in it?), and for some reason his dance scene with Chloe just didn't quite sit right...I dunno, I just can't put my finger on why it bothered me.
And...I mean, C'MON, they can't come up with a better plot device then time travel and the whole wipe-out-Clark's-very-existence bit? How unoriginal! Next thing you know they'll have a "may rip a hole in the very fabric of time and space" plot.
Are the writers rushing to make up for lost time or what?

Re: Say...what? (Spoilers)
Sun, April 27, 2008 - 2:56 PMI actually didn't have a problem with the episode. But then again I love Smallville to no end lol -

I agree that the James Bond persona
Mon, May 12, 2008 - 5:46 PMThey're trying to foist upon Jimmy Olsen is a bit flaky round the edges...I mean, I still see the round faced baby boy behind the ski mask!
Guess the writers are still pulling from the DC Magic box for ideas..but you are right ,some of them are going on being 50 years old!
STill, bibilcal stories, Arabian nights stories, Grimm's fairy tales...are much older than that! And we still love 'em and will watch the revamped deals.
I'm gonna be there will you all, watching to see what happens to our fearless cast of characters next. And I miss Lana!
