man, i hope that for this "war"clark speaks of in the commercials the show truly brings it. i don't want some half assed tussle like we've seen lately (with the exception of Kane maybe)

Re: the commercials
Wed, April 18, 2007 - 3:13 AMI'm just anxious for a new episode. I hate the way these guys operate. 2 new episodes followed by 3-4 weeks of reruns.
The show, it's writers and it's producers have really developed and matured over the last 5-6 years. Yes, some of the stuff wasn't done to it's full potential (Zod, etc) but overall I've been really happy with the end product these last 2-3 seasons. -

Re: the commercials
Wed, April 18, 2007 - 7:14 AMNew Episode Thursday. Can't wait. Lynda Carter. Yay!
I kind of disagree with you, Ceezer. I think the show has, with the exception of a couple episodes here and there, been a big disappointment since Cyborg. Everything seems stalled, character development is actually going backwards.
But, if the big, big spoilers that are coming out are true, then the main problem with the show won't be back next season. It gives me high hopes that we can get back to Clark Kent and Lex Luthor. -

Since then there's been some other stuff that's come out that points to one person above the others, but nothing's been confirmed. -

Re: the commercials
Wed, April 18, 2007 - 4:22 PMI'm assuming you think it's Lana since most people (here, anyway) don't like her, and since you mention Lex. Only thing is, Lana is an actual character in the Superman universe where Chloe wasn't.
Plus that Kristen girl said you're going to freak out and if people are aware of an upcoming death then Lana is probably going to be the one expected, making Chloe the least expected (of the two because it can't be Clark or Lex, unless they're totally killing the story) so she'd be the bigger "surprise".

Re: the commercials
Wed, April 18, 2007 - 4:16 PMYou know, actually, you're right. Things were going great then we got to this period where Lana is pregnant and marrying Lex and it's like - now what? - like they don't know what to do.

Re: the commercials
Wed, April 18, 2007 - 9:51 PMi love lana, shes great eye candy, but the death of her would definitely open up new storylines but its past due for chloe to visit that giant type writer in the sky -

Re: the commercials
Thu, April 19, 2007 - 5:56 AMWe should probably start a new thread so that people who don't want to be spoiled don't stumble on this accidentally. If I get a chance later today I'll start one and I'll detail all that's come out that points to one person over the others. (Of course a lot of it is speculation, and wishful thinking.)

Re: the commercials
Fri, April 20, 2007 - 8:35 PMmy inner fan boy is sooo hoping they bring some more pseudo-justice league members into smallville and mash it up with a pseudo legion of supervillians or luthor and his band of brainwashed supervillians. altho maybe a multi-episode arc preferably
