That was pretty sweet! I loved seeing the JLA in action like that and hope we get more appearances in the future. I wonder if we'll get any Batman or Wonder Woman references/cameos sometime soon. A couple things, though:
I thought Bart was the Flash, but they called him Impulse at the end of the show. Was that because of licensing issues, or something? And I don't have near the comic book lore that y'all do, but I don't remember anyone named Cyborg. Who is he supposed to be?
Now that Lois is single, will a relationship spark between her and Clark?

No way, Lois still thinks Clark is a dweeb, and Clark wouldn't hop on Lois so soon after her and Oliver's breakup. He's too gentlemenly for that.
But, here's the question: Where is Chloe's place in the JLA? Will she become Wonder Woman or Super-girl?
I don't remember Cyborg either... -

Re: Last night's episode - *spoiler*
Fri, January 19, 2007 - 11:43 AMI wondered about Chloe, but isn't Wonder Woman from another planet? I don't remember about Super Girl.
And I didn't mean to imply that Clark was going to jump on her when she finished waving goodbye, but just that it opens things up and I wonder if it'll lead anywhere. You know that weeks pass by in the show between episodes, so by the season finale it wouldn't be unquestionable to see them wrapping the year up on a hot spark.

Fri, January 19, 2007 - 4:38 PMCyborg is a later creation, mostly in the newer cartoons such as Teen Titans [which is where I first saw him]. He is more human than in the cartoon, but still dons the metal skeleton, robotic eye, etc. -

Sun, January 21, 2007 - 2:23 PMDon't know if we'll see Batman. There have been a couple Gotham references...it would be interesting to see a crossover though, possibly between Wayne Enterprises and LutherCorp?
Oh, and I KNOW it was hella cheesy, but I loved the scenes where they were all walking together, like away from the explosion. Goddess, they are some HOT guys!

Re: Last night's episode - *spoiler*
Mon, January 22, 2007 - 4:11 PMI don't think we'll see Batman or Wonder Woman ever on Smallville. There are films in development for both and Warners doesn't want any confusion between the series and the movies.
That's also the reason Bart was called Impulse. According to Stephen DeKnight, who wrote and directed Justice, Bart's code name was going to be Flash, but Warners but the kabash on that because there's a Flash film in development. -
